I appreciate you standing up for me, but it was a joke that wasn't taken as funny. Yes, someone could've fallen for it and I was in the wrong. I'll accept the punishment in full.

I could make an excuse and say "I was testing if it was encoded properly or if the asterisks could be read somehow", but I wont. I was ****ing around and got smacked for it.

Still, thanks for sticking up for me, but I brought this on myself. I genuinely do appreciate it.

In light of this post, as he has fully manned up for his infraction (A 'joke thread' that may have resulted in people losing their account security), it has been decided that we will remove the punishment from him, as he has learned his lesson.

We greatly appreciate people being honest and forthcoming about what they did, and his demeanor in this has been a major factor as to why his punishment is removed.

Keep this in mind, however.

No posts other than Aries' were taken into account for this unbanning.

This was decided solely between this post and a discussion with him via pm.

It was a genuine rarity to see someone be completely civil when discussing what went on, and admitting the punishment was justified.

Had he not manned up about what happened, the punishment would have easily sticked, as I do not accept appeals/arguments about bans except those from involved parties (In this case, any game admin, forum global admin, and the involved party, Aries).

Yes, this means that others making posts and IMs clamoring for his appeal had no effect on the ruling.
