Group: Members Posts: 45 Total: 1255	distance kayaked: 11 miles total confirmed miles to date: 879 This was a pleasant trip. The river was swollen following another round of thunderstorms, but it was nowhere near as difficult as my previous visit to the river. Cold, settled air produced fog in some areas, even while nearby areas were relatively warm. a family visiting the National Forest stopped to watch me leave downriver a gnarled tree that I noticed during my previousl trip but neglected to get a picture of. If you can imagine another 8 feet of water at this point, that's how high the river was during my last trip. same bridge, no people more gnarled trees a swamp just beyond the bridge at my destination the upriver bridge; notice the hunter/lookout? heading back down same area as the previous 2 pictures thought a dark swamp image would be cool so I changed the shutter speed disappearing into the fog That wraps up 2009; expect to see more in the coming year! _________________________________________ ScouSin: Damn you Gaku!
