The first time I tried to do this stretch of river, I was swarmed by dozens of yellow flies and had to retreat after a few miles. The second time, half of the state forest was under water and I was unable to even reach this section of river. This was my third attempt.



For a change of pace, I didn't take any pictures; I simply recorded videos from time to time. Personally I don't think it turned out very well. Initially I was going to put these videos together into a coherent, somewhat comedic "story" about a kayaking trip gone wrong, but many of the recordings failed entirely, ruining the narrative and leaving me with a bunch of useless footage. This is everything that I could salvage after having stripped out the story segments.
