This topic is created requesting more guides be assigned for FFO.

Guides were previously revoked not only due to personal opinion of the existant guides at that point.

But due to Admins being ''Active'' and naturally being guides.
The admins figured guides werent neccesary.

But as of now, that is simply not the case any more.
We all know only two of our five Admins are active.
and the two non admin guides have been slowly slowly lacking consistancy with their presence.

As for the two admins that are active, One of them is on averagly, but idles almost all of the time, chat for ten minutes, then logs out or go back to idle. The other admin only hops on regularly to Keep happiness in his domain up, and to say hi to everyone in dsay.

Not only do i use everything above as points, but there have been many points in the game recently as to where neither non admin guides, or admins have been present, and those periods have seemed to increase in duration, and number.

Great topic, I said it from the start that there will be a need for more guides, unlike some of the old guides, I enjoyed helping out newbies. I also brought up several times to admins that no guides were present for some period of time. I've heard people say "well most newbies are alts anyway." Well sure some are and sure they can answer questions, but some newbies lack this knowledge and don't even bother asking a question due to no guide being present. Let us do our jobs please, atleast those of us who enjoy it.

Well, while I'm on alts that have access to newbie say I end up finding myself giving long explanations and answers to any question that gets tossed up there, and I have all the time in the world, so...

Though I was a guide once and quit because PattyNBK would argue with me over NSay and I was the one who got in trouble for it because Kumog highly favored him/her/it and tattle taled as if I were the bad guy, neither of those freaks have played in awhile 8) And then I do have my stupid moments that I want to say won't happen again but I suppose I've said that many times now

Guides were revoked previously because of your personal opinion as to them not diserving it. There are 5 admins, You are not the admin team LP.

Thats another thing, People are discouraged to even interact with the admins sometimes because of the personal vendettas they have between the players, The players can do everything right, or the way they're supposed to when it comes to interacting with the admins (Such is how black was treated), or do everything right as far as being given responsibilities, (kati in the past, and Me as icon checker now), but still be completely dismisses, diseregarded, and completely being acted apon with biased demeanor.

That honestly needs to change.
I'd love to see actions based on logic, instead of actions based on opinion. That is the only way moderation should even be delt with.

Nice to see LP is still same old LP, anyway i've never done anything to deserve getting my guide taken away. I was probably THE most active guide and i did it well. Jeebs is an admin too and i'm sure he wouldn't disapprove of me having it.

Sorry, I know from personal experience all the people including yourself and how they took advantage of the positions they had/have for themselves. Your post is pretty much a big lie.

In no such way were the positions abused since previously there werent really any standards, its like i say, all of this shit is you guys opinions, back when me and ace were guides, you THOUGHT we werent doing it right, and instead of saying anything, you formed your stubborn solid unchangable opinion that all FFO Oldbies develop after experiencing something.

None of us have had many problems abiding rules or obeying admins as of late, But as luck would have it, you guys still have your little ''Stubborn solid unchangable opinion'' as to how you think someone is, and how you go about interacting with them.

On another note, Sinsie and LP arent even active. Remember, players elected the admins, so the admins can easily have thir positions revoked if they are obviously abusing their position, or not even doing thier job. We've needed needed to created a post about purging some of the admins anyways.

Kati knows what she's done/almost did but she isn't raging like a lunatic and I've already talked to her about it, but she wouldn't all of a sudden lie about it to make what she's saying seem more valid so I'm leaving her alone.

I was on earlier before, and have not received any contacts about things to moderate on; no PMs, no IMs (online or offline messages), no texts. There will be times when people are busy, but when we haven't even received anything to address, you should just keep quiet when you're already at risk of losing icon checker for being more of a problem than a help.

The only good point you've made is guides being low; we can check it out and see if it keeps staying at too few-to-none ourselves and remedy the problem.

If people read the fucking FAQ it wouldn't matter if we had 0 or 100 guides. If they really can't learn to do something as simple as that why should everyone have to go out of their way to fix that?

Haze is right, last time I invited a friend to play ffo with me, he have no idea how the game really works. Since I'm pretty horrible at explaining things to him, he had to figure on his own.

After few days of playing he finally learn how to start and stuff and told me "Well, I love to read xD"

In the end. I pretty much didn't have to explain alot of thing at him.

People learns eh? :P
