Why indie games have small markets

They tend to be created specifically for the purpose of satisfying a very particular, niche audience. This niche audience typically is the kind that prefers insane difficulty and pouring thousands of hours into a game.

Nintendo doesn't do this and I would say is the most successful and long-lasting video game development company.

I would say most FFOers fall in that niche audience of earlier. I know I do. And you know what I do? Suck it the **** up. I am in the worst position to request a game be designed in the direction *I* personally would like because the way *I* would like it is the minority vote.

Seriously, I feel like I say this every month or some ****, but FFO and Terulia are geared for different markets.

And you know what, Tyrael? I really, really enjoyed you calling me out randomly in a topic when I've had **** to do with this version of FFO, even as a joke. I'm glad to know I'm on your mind so much. :)

I just really don't understand how some of the players don't understand that Terulia isn't made for them, and that because they think it's not fun does not mean it is bad.

I don't get this topic. Are you coming out of the closet?

Surprisingly enough.

Especially given the subject, I would have expected some long essay that eventually went into the physics engine of the new hit MMO My Little Pony: Grinding is Magic.
