Discuss what level cap should be. I'm strongly against it changing any more than 10 levels because it would very likely make much more balancing necessary and the current one has been fine enough to keep this many players.

60-65 is fine. I always like higher level caps. Gives more to shoot for.

55 is good to me, I really don't wanna see it go higher. Mainly because higher prof caps benefit WW's and BW's the mostly because their power is reliant entirely on spell profs. The higher a BW can prof dark the stronger he is, but other classes don't gain as much raw power from more profs. Not to mention wizards are really the only ones expected to cap a large portion of their spells because they don't require equipment profs as much.

Ninjas have to prof dw, knife, and melee to increase their damage overall for example. They're also heavily reliant on MW, SS, and Mug which all need to be proffed.



So yeah I'm against raising the cap, I'd in fact be happy to see it go down to 50.

This is mostly my reasoning too. I also enjoy high level caps so that there's more to shoot for etc. The problem is that FFO has changed a lot in different ways since the last time the level cap was higher or lower, so changing the level cap by much has great potential for massive unbalancing.

Level cap to 50 and slightly boost attack strength depending on how many profs you have for melee classes.

FFO with a low level cap is sooo ridiculously boring. You can't really do much, can't really go many places. You hit level 20 and then what? You farm desert once you're capped? Ahahaha. Screw dat.

It's no biggie either way the way it is imo, leveling is so fast that it won't add some great challenge to the game.

If we can make prof-to-level requirement an exponential gain past 40 I support removal of level cap ;)

This would mirror 3.5 no cap servers where once you got high it was a ***** to keep going but you could go on forever in theory

Although there is probably some technical cap where you would need more profs than you can gain without breaking the cap eventually

If we can't do that.. I say keep it the way it is. Level 35 was a better cap but the game has been re-balanced since then and this fits the new PFO better.
