The game is terribly boring and with this new unlimited level cap it's hard for anyone to make a new character and catch up without being relentlessly murdered just because they're fresh meat.

The leader of the RNCBP suggests the following:
-Restore the level cap back to 35.

-Make stat gains for characters equal throughout, instead of it being random and unfair.

-Nerf army units by half for both health and strength.

-Decrease guard and army units by half(and by this I mean numbers)

-Increase gold value rates by 45%

-Decrease the amount of profs per level it takes for each spell by 300%.

-Make armor more durable again.

-Increase natural prof rates by 150%


If these changes are made with a pwipe myself and the RNCBP will return and give life to your game.

Who cares about a pwipe? No one wants to play.

If it came down to playing a byond game, I'd sooner play StolenLands which has even LESS players than FFO just because it's a more well made game and after all these years there are still things to do in the game and still secrets left to discover.

FFO lost the fuel for it's biggest appeal factor, which is drama, when everyone stopped playing.

It's still lacking in the balance department and it's still a huge time-sink. No one wants to play a game where you have to invest half of your life in order to compete with mad 14 year olds on a platform that no one plays. It's slow and inefficient. FFO and Terulia have some good concepts but they'll never reach their full potential, not on BYOND anyway, and most certainly not with the direction things have been going (from what I've seen).

tl;dr why play bad video games when you can play good ones with high fps and lots of player for FREE.
