cant melee for ****, cant prof for ****, i heal less then barber with no staff when im using a mw shadow cane

only usefull thing is status and poison

I think RW need a nerf on their poison, it's almost useful. (probably 110% nerf)

And we should add 5 minute recoils to all status spells.

proffing prob isn't affecting rw's only and I'm pretty sure that's on the agenda to be fixed since there have been so many complaints about it.

why, they have no mana and already have less power in every aspect

90 mana at level 19, i can get like 15 casts with my spells costing about 7/cast, now imagine people later on using tier 3s that cost 30-50 mana

The only reason they suck now, is because ALL mages suck. If it werent for that fact, theyd be overpowered pieces of ****, like they always were. THEY CAN DO ****ING EVERYTHING.

and have to chug 4x more ethers to do so, and for less in everything, red mages are fine if you can prof them

2) magic power on par with black wizards
3) cure power on par with white wizards
4) being able to heal themselves easily when they also easily dish out tons of damage
5) xmagic (because of prior reason(s))
6) refresh (because of prior reason(s))
7) pretty decent melee damage


It's not that they have a bad or broken combination of skills etc, it's the fact that they do most of them equally as well as other classes. Their strength is supposed to lie in their versatility.

I'm playing a master because I've mained nothing but mages the past 5 or so hostings and it's boring.

Master was the second class I ever played, after white wizard in 3.0. Going back to my roots, yo. I'll be playing a WW when natural prof rates are adjusted.

i've seen magnus hit like 60s as a bm, i hit 50s with my prof 21 poison CAUSE IT WONT ****ING PROF, which is, needless to say, my strongest spell while bm can dish out twice as much, or near it, and also have a ****TON more magic resistance

i cure 150s usually on most things, well, 100-150 i guess, i cant cure bws over 60

LETS NERF CURE AND MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO HEAL BWS

play a rw then tell me its on par with bws

Wizards can deal damage at range and because they can run and cast can dish out more damage while recieving less than any melee could ever hope to achieve. If you're playing red wizard correctly, melee shouldn't be giving you too much problem, but hey, you're probably just relying on status spells and power like a general asshat, and need to get to cumbering and kiting. As far as poison being Red Wizard's strongest spell, maybe you should try one of your normal elements on a player because unless they're wearing light elemental armor, these will do more to a player than poison.
