Deylin and Jules have been banned from FFO for posting explicitly sexual and inappropriate material on the :ffo channel.

TRC follows the ToS just like the forums. Furthermore, for posting it on the channel where every single player of FFO gets subscribed to means it follows the rules of public channels on FFO.

This is extremely inappropriate behavior, and appropriate action was taken.

I hope everyone will understand this and will be sure not to post inappropriate material on the channels :ffo and :main.

The administrators of FFO can police public channels in Final Fantasy Online, not in TRC. TRC is a subdivision of the forums which is Kumog, Locke, and Gaku's jurisdiction.

Game ban is unwarranted. Forum ban is warranted.
You can't issue forum bans. The proper action would have been to report this to one of the proper people, not try to enforce rules that aren't there.

Furthermore TRC channels are also moderated by the forum owners and there is an ignore function.

This ban was authorized by Gakumerasara. Me, Shane, and Gaku had all discussed it as it affected forums/TRC/FFO as a whole.

Wouldnt it more fitting to just blacklist them from the forums, that way they cant use the TRC?

They are only receieving an in game mute of 2 weeks, and a 2 week Forum ban/trc ban. and a severe warning.
