It's time to dissect an icon and decide whether or not it is acceptable.


As you can see, the icon is certainly in the right format, but the icon states seem to be in the wrong order. Woops!

Let's take a look at that battle state.

Uh. What? Are those.. legs? I can't tell. It's so dark.. The color scheme is black and white.. with red eyes. Strange, then, how its actually 110 different colors when it could have been just 3. The icon comes in at a whopping 16 kb, compared to a standard fighter icon which is about 3. Hm. I think it supposed to be some sort of samurai? Whatever. Let's move on.



I'm not sure exactly what's going on in this attack state. Is that the arm moving up and down? And why does that one pixel on the knee move...?

There are more issues with this icon but I think considering these are the 2 main states you'd be seeing, it needs some work. It needs a lot of work.

1. Yes those are legs. it was kinda hard to make them aternate but as you can see if you look closely you can see them alternating in a walk pattern.(sorry first icon did my best)

2. Yes it is a Evil Samurai which is the RP behind my character this hosting.

3. the pixel your seeing which you call the knee moving is actually my hand coming down preparing for an attack/and the recoil after the attack. i tried to make it seem realistic as possible.

I believe i deserve an icon for I am the first in pk's and have been since day 1. This hosting im RPing my knight as a evil samurai who is bent on killing all those who oppose me. Though to be honest i think you cant "deserve" an icon really but since ive been playing this game for almost 10 years (since 3.5) and each hosting ive had (in my opinion) one of the best knights in the server if you say you need to "deserve" an icon i believe i do.

I've been playing with you this entire hosting and have heard nothing about this RP.

It doesn't matter what it is in your imagination, the icon is too dark. It makes it look like it's jsut a useless pixel moving for no reason.

Being first in PKs doesn't matter. It can be farmed and has nothing to do with who you are.
This game hasn't been around for 10 years.
Your opinion about yourself doesn't matter, it's other's opinions about you, and the general consensus is that you're an average knight.

Just because I ask someone who they are it doesn't mean they have to say they are the best. They state facts about themselves.

This is false. I like Tyrael. He's one of my friends, and that's why I used his icon as the example. I know he would understand my decision and wouldn't ****storm over the forums for using him as an example.

I greatly dislike both Black and Zkiller, but they have most certainly earned icons. Please stop saying I am bias.
