so like, magnus has had GM powers for however long

and me and nefertari were dueling, well after the duel(nef quit) magnus decided, sup mobs, and so nef and trish started jewing ****

so i cheapshotted nef and was about to pk trishula

Magnus because i was pvping, decided to spawn 3 tonberries on me in the middle of irendi(it got hashmal killed as well)

he was using his gm powers to interrupt pvp with mobs that dont naturally spawn, and it was because I was doing it

which im pretty damn sure is abuse of his powers to **** up the game, it wasnt an event either, he just started doing it randomly

To Magnus: If you're really doing this, kindly knock it off so we can all have nice things. If stuff like this keeps cropping up, with or without concrete evidence, you probably won't have GM long, and we probably won't be seeing many events.

Maybe events could, in the future, be held out of the normal game area. Like, say, that huge island built for this purpose, or that big empty room with no spawns in the EE cave. If Magnus has GM, no doubt he can teleport players to those locations as well.

First of all, I was asked to come ountdown for the g/d pointless duel, that nobody was gunna win. Then you both had quit etc. and I said if you all join the party good things would happen, so I spawned you guys a few mobs, then you pked party members, so I pked you for ****in it up. plain and simple.

Jeebs also doesnt spawn **** on people all the time without announcing, and no one complains about that.

All I'll say is I lost admin for making a joke announcement about there being a pwipe to accompany a server reboot I did one day (it was horrid laggy and near every player was requesting one from me).

We should make up our minds whether we're going to be stringent on how GMs and Admins use their tools or not and act accordingly in all situations. However, Gaku will take full license to do as he damn well pleases and there's no point in *****ing or stupid flamey bull**** from either side. If you think an abuse has been made post about it without the flaming.

I know that's entirely too much to ask out of anyone posting here though so have at it.

He has hosted events in multiple places that were not biased towards one group of people. You don't play, don't assume.


What was happening south of Argo wasn't even an event it was Magnus trying to learn how to use his GM skills which all of you started crying abuse about right away. Don't you guys ever just shut the **** up about something and let there be some GM fun in the game?

Or is it only when people are spawning hoards of pugs that you're happy about it?

gaku has never spawned tonberries on me, and jeebs did it with a roleplay effort mixed into where our domain was "under siege" by tempos or some **** like that, and the only time he spawned tonberries was outside the domain

I suggested where he should host events in the future. I said nothing about where has hosted them before.

Maybe he could learn to use his GM skills in one of the multiple places inaccessible to normal players, or at least a good distance off the beaten path. Argo is pretty much the opposite of "off the beaten path."

Really, I'm just speculating here, but I'm guessing that if Magnus doesn't take it easy and use GM more carefully, he isn't going to have it long. After last time, it took a long time for Gaku to even trust Jeebs with it, and if we're immediately going to have these issues this time, I don't think this will last long either.
