Recently I found out somebody managed to get onto my Main BYOND key and my mule key, and strip all of my characters. I've been keeping relatively quiet about this because I've been trying to figure out what's going on. Apparently I'm not the only one this has happened to. I'm trying to get the attention of of anyone who can do anything about this. Anyone else this has ahppened to, please speak up. Gaku, I'm personally requesting a personal rollback of 6 days, last time I saw any of my stuff was Sunday night.

i agree but there is the issue who has been doing this to the accounts and a constant roll back wont fix anything if they repeat i lost my mules everything they kept my **** gear and somehow my nice aw gear is gone but thats on a completly seperate key one i have kept hidden from every1

It could be hacking, but it's likely not.

Tippy thought he was hacked before. I know for a fact that someone who he shared his password with was the culprit. I've seen this happen several times this hosting as well.

Most cases of people claiming to be hacked are in fact cases of 'oh man i shared my pw and now all my **** is gone'.

Did you try checking your byond account information to see what email address your account info is sent to? Have you shared your email account with anyone? I'd be willing to be money that in 99% of cases where people claim to have been hacked, the answer is yes.

I'd be willing to bet no one completely understands how stupidly hard it would be to literally hack a password by the most correct definitions.

No one with the computing firepower is going to waste it on BYOND, guys.

If people share passwords, then I would think that's the first place to start checking. If three or more other people know your password, you're having too much faith in your friends.

I never shared my password, most of my friends never shared passwords, none of us ever had these sorts of problems. It's doubtful there ever has been a problem of hacked accounts on FFO, and just a big reminder why none of you should ever share your passwords.

I remember one hosting I literally had access to like 5-6 other people's keys.
