As you may or may not know, the rule concerning key sharing has been removed. Do any of you think it should be reinstated? Please provide reasoning if you reply.

There is no reason for people to share keys, period.

If say I loaned someone my key, and they went into a storage building and raided the place, who is going to wake up the next day because of Kumog brandishing a chainsaw? Second: They break the rules, banhammah for both of you. Third: If you piss them off, they can really screw up your character by selling equipment, delevelling you, getting you perma-outlawed everywhere, God help if you own a domain. Fourth: "It wasn't me! It was X", heard it a hundred times. Lastly: If that person has any sort of "authority" if you will, that can cause a lot of issues. Even though some people are genuinely trustworthy, they're sadly a minority. Although, I wouldn't object to needing permission to share keys. _________________________________________ Censorshit is a bitch.

That's the keysharer's responsibility. Second: They break the rules, banhammah for both of you. Ban the key/IP that did it. Third: If you piss them off, they can really screw up your character by selling equipment, delevelling you, getting you perma-outlawed everywhere, God help if you own a domain. Keysharer's risk. Fourth: "It wasn't me! It was X", heard it a hundred times. Ban key/IP that did it. Lastly: If that person has any sort of "authority" if you will, that can cause a lot of issues. This one has some merit. _________________________________________ Signatures are SO last decade.

Points taken, the biggest issue is impersonation.
