Untrue Solus. The fact of the matter remains, find me one thing Cea has done to better this game from an 'outside' (Mapping/Iconing/etc) perspective? THAT is the point that has been raised.

But frankly, you shouldn't help the game just for special privileges. Be a Dev and see a new forum, whoop de doo. I promise the work they do more than makes up for their cool beans locked forum and Gaku's ear.

I mean, not all of us do things for the good of the game just to get something back in return. I know I don't.

Listen up chief. He made an entirely finished Irendi, he had quest trees, NPCs of note, all kinds of shit, it was an excellently made map, wouldve added tons of new content with 0 effort on gakus part other than coding it in, but gaku was being gaku at the time, and said "nope no more FFO shit OTAY" without ever really pouring over it. Just to give you an idea of how things really work(ed), even if he had handed me: a completed map, defined spawn areas, monster icons, monster stats, monster abilities, NPC text, quest text, etc., it would have still taken me days to weeks to add it. He didn't give me everything, which meant I would have had to spend even more time preparing it. And expanding Irendi, the ice-themed area which already encompassed too much of the FFO world, was never a high priority in the first place.

I'm posting a new topic in a moment to address some of the issues raised here.
