Everyone but Cea should be banned.

What do you mean? My post was to illustrate how Bob's didn't make any sense.
I'm sorry you didn't understand. :( _________________________________________ Signatures are SO last decade.

reply to Pkftw: Sorry, but this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. You realize how many times someone has gone off, while in a party, away from the team and gotten a 4th kill and gotten banned? In a huge 10+ team, everyone would be banned. That makes no sense because they knew their boundaries, and the offender crossed the line. You sir have no grasp on fairness, you're too biased because these are your buddies. To be fair to the community, it's not fair to blame Dean for the bans when the players involved have been playing for at least 1+ years, are semi vets of the game and know the rules and game mechanics moreso than the regular casual newbie.
You guys are right in the sense that the admin team is placing "trust" in each other to do their job well for the community. Dean is an admin where he feels that he dosen't need to explain or show his acitons. That is a flaw of him being an admin and I've told him that beforehand. Being a troll and flammer dosent go hand in hand with a good image of an admin from an outside perspective. Now the only rule that clearly needs to be addressed is how killing/spamkilling should be handled. The rules are in place so that people don't go overboard and completely ruin another players gaming experience. Ban really should never really need to be in the back of people's minds when they play a game. As I said, Argo should be the only place where you should feel at least somewhat safe, and most spamkilling is done there. So if you want to look at the problem you have to look at what is the punishment for being an "outlaw" in the game. Why is the cube not much of a deterrant for "criminals"? Should Argo have a better military presence to keep neutral people safe in such a chaotic world? Questions like these need to be addressed before you can have a more balanced gameplay. _________________________________________ |

I do have some ideas for what you are saying Jeebs, I'll see if someone makes a topic for stuff like this, since this topic IS about Ace and Shatter getting banned and such.

I agree with you jeebs, argo should have a better military presence and you should feel safer their then most places. We should look into solutions on this issue. Also I know the rules and I also know that I didn't break any by killing someone curing my target whom wasn't even in argo when I was attacking him. As far as I knew I was within the rules, and i'm not known for openly abusing stuff like this. Although tyrael is known for twisting words around and lying about what really happened. If you don't believe me I have a perfect ss that shows tyrael accusing me of having his name, and calling me a liar for it at the beginning of this hosting. Until tyrael has a ss of me lying my ass off then I think we should take my word and the word of shatter's over his to be honest.

It'd be nice if there was a way to log into the game securely. Theres been times where I've logged in after a couple weeks, or after a ppwipe, and even though I'm in Argo, I'm getting jumped before I have my quick slot bar set up or anything equipped.

I've fought Gaku's pugs before and they're not very tough, plus you still have to get outlawed. I highly doubt you'll find a system that will prevent ganks and catch the attacker before they escape town. Unless they were 1-tile equivalents of level 200 Ironpedes or something.

Maybe it could be just coded so if you attack someone within Argo's limits you instantly die. :P

Going for the safe zone concept? FFO's supposed to be better than that...

Do you mean as in we should tough it out or as in our players should be honorable? Please don't tell me you think the latter is actually plausible. _________________________________________ Signatures are SO last decade.

I mean as in people should tough it out. Theoretically that's why there's the spam killing rule but I have know idea what's going on with the ish going on there.
But you know me...I'm only saying "tough it out" cause I've played this game for years and know how to deal with it. Newbies aren't so lucky... _________________________________________ Haze wrote:

reply to Uncle Bob: I'm not going to press this ban, but from now on we're going to do things more structured and learn from our mistakes. I urge people to get pissed and demand action and change in the admins if we aren't acting up to code like we have been in the past. Don't settle for a crappy job, nor admins keeping secrets. _________________________________________ |
