im pretty sure that if a player needs to take ss' and give proof to an admin to justify a ban, then an admin would have to at the least present some sort of proof

When the community is always acting up and toeing the line, don't be surprised when the hammer comes down on you.

From my own reading as an "outsider" considering I do not play nor care about FFO, it appears more to me as the community complaining that they cannot get away with everything their hearts desire. The community needs a severe overhaul, starting with the mindset of "What can I get away with?"

The community needs to realize that the community has to stay together lest the game turn into a wasteland with less than 10 people playing daily, with no new players coming in. The current mindset people have of "HEY ITS THAT NEW GUY! KILL HIM IN AN ABUSIVE FASHION LIKE WE WERE KILLED!" does not contribute to this game's well being.

Constantly killing people once they leave newbie protection, only stopping to "avoid the banhammer" as it appears folks like Tyrael do, is also counter to the game's growth. These things are not good for this game as a whole.

I'm not going to comment any on the administration, as my point is as thus:

The community is the group that needs to be worked on, not the administration.

I understand why some of you may be kneejerk-voting for anarchy, but I hope you all put some thought into this before asking for it. While it's true that some try to twist the current rules to suit them, an anarchy mode also means there isn't any more lines to toe in the first place.

If you really want these sort of things to stop with anarchy, it'll be up to you to make the offenders' gameplay experience as dismal as possible in order to deter them from picking on others.

Hey shane ignorance isn't an excuse. If she didn't know he was killed that many times she should have still been banned. Remember how people toss that around so often.
