I'd just like to point out that this only applies in one situation. And that is if there wasn't any buildings in the domain. Or NPCs to get in the way, or army. The attackers automatically have the advantage in a situation where there are so many obstacles in the way for defenders and zero for the attackers. This isn't an excuse for their loss, just pointing out that the "bug" definitely benefited the attacking team.
