Incorrect. The ban was originally IP only. I fixed this by applying the bans to both player's keys.

The admin team has been working together to enforce the rules that were posted when we first were appointed.

@ Po: Nobody had unbanned Shatter or Ace. If they got online it was because they used a different IP. They are re banned and will serve out their time of a week.

I've been abused, nuff said. No really, why do you guys think I quit. It was because I was falsely accaused for something I didn't do. Such as, firewalling and logging out so I won't get outlawed which I was currently outlawed in. Because if that was the case, I SWEAR the boat PC guy/girl was right there when I put the finishing BLOW on your ass dean. What was up with that. But that's just Blax guilt on saying somthing that happened 5 months ago. Nobody going to listen, I'm just some black guy that just torrents as he plays. O.o

I don't mean to sound like I'm taking sides here but that's not exactly how burden of proof works. The person making the allegations is the one who has to provide evidence that supports what he says before the accused can defend against it.

Plus I usually contact at least one other admin regarding bans and usually show them any relevant evidence.

If I actually see someone doing the deed I don't waste my time taking screenshots. I'm not here to prove to you that people have broken rules, I'm here to make sure that the rules are followed and that those who don't follow the rules receive punishment for doing so.

Personally, I think this topic needs some cleaning up by someone who can do so, this topic is getting out of hand.

As for the topic of debate, let me clear some things up. Dean has a history of bug abuse, but from what I understand, because of these abuses, a lot of things have been fixed up. Sure, Dean banned me wrongfully, but he claims he had screenshots from Tyrael, which I can tell you were faked by him. That same day I *****ed out Dean and told him he was wrong, but I would accept my ban, because it was only 24 hours and was only a character ban. Personally, I just think these screenshots should have been aired to the public. This means that Tyrael was the one abusing, and Dean just made a little oopsie, the question is if he can learn from his mistakes.

Sinsie and Jeebs are the only two people still on the administration team who have been completely unbiased throughout FFO, proof being they HAVE banned people on "thier side" IN FACT, back when the duping bug was being abused by Dzungaria, complaints came up that I had been duping as well, and when I was on the computer at the library (I didn't have internet at home, so no FFO for me) Sinsie msn'd me stating these charges and the potential consequences to which I nulled by giving him my (at the time) only two keys' info and having him log all my chars for his investigation, which turned up nothing.

As far as Marcus, the reason the icons were removed is because there was an issue at the time as to whether or not the other side was using icons that somehow lagged the game, and no one wanted to investigate it, so he forced one on the community, and got banned. The ban was -technically- justified, but it's not like he removed everyone's icon in a trollface move.

If there's a re-election, I personally can't tell you who I'd wanna see on it, and honestly, everyone's gonna scream biased no matter what because players choose sides in a fight, simple as that. I preferably would rather just see the administration get done right, instead of half-assed as it currently is (sorry guise but it's true and don't deny it, you know it is).

So, in summation of MY long ass post, I'm not mad at Dean for banning me or anyone, I would just like to see him do his job properly (posting the bans, showing the evidence, doing a real investigation, etc). I'd like the current admins to be a little bit more active, but all in all that's about it. I'm neutral toward the re-election, and I'll cast my votes toward people who I know to be fair, neutral, and willing to go through the hassle that I'm sure being an admin IS.

Also; if Dean's abusing his admin and everyone's this worried about it, at least he isn't Gaku dropping bahamuts on you during seige. Or he isn't Malthros perma-banning you because he hates you. He isn't kumog on a power trip banning you for sneezing. He isn't Oondivinezin banning you because you killed his char. You guys wanna see real admin abuse? Elect me, I'll show it to you.

Also, Key note: If you have evidence of my BW casting firewall on your body, with your "View wanting list" And it says "Argo outlaw list Jayden shu" then you fail. If it doesn't by chance say that, then I was perma falsed horribly. I mean, god, I know i'm owner of the game but ****, you didn't want me in the game that bad? Like did I hit a emo-censer then? Because you know dam well, I was outlawed when I FW'd your ass.....That's the ONLY reason I logged on my weak ass master.

What need is there of an investigation when we know people have been thinking, "How to avoid getting banned but still do x?" or, in certain cases, "How to get y banned because they are doing x?"

Again, it's not just chance that the people that behave and don't act up and, you know, don't try and grief the hell out of people usually don't get banned ever.
