here is the funny thing magnus gets pissed when we interrupt his event HOWEVER when his sidecomes and kills our party while doing event he does nothing.

not even a week ago magnus held a event in the desert during this event trishula and zeno came down and pk'd our entire party, took our dc's then relogged back to tristrams safety. why didnt you **** them up?

magnus myonlywordof advice is watch how you use gm or youll lose it guaranteed these kinda of shinnanigans and events need to not happen. be fair to BOTH sides.

I don't think events should be safe from pvp gankings or item loss but I also don't think mobs should be spawned on players who don't wish to participate in any kind of event (aka retaliation for 'ruining' an event).

Having a few maps set aside specifically for GM events would be nice for the fact that people who don't want to willingly participate in events aren't included unintentionally but then again that means those who are participating in the events are free from hostile actions from outside groups.

I think the best course of action would be to not hold events in areas that block access to other areas (on the way to the water temple, in front of any dungeons, in the ice caves, etc).

the pirion map has lots of caves, a mountain, a swamp island, forests, and an arctic tundra, the map is about 3x the size of vorg if I recall correctly, lots of different areas for events and other stuff.

regardless if your gona do events take it to unpopulated places like gm island or the empty room in ee caves or the shiva room in frost caves

anyway, GM island is pretty limited as far as events go so I understand why jeebs and chris like to hold the events elsewhere.

GM is meant to create extra content for the players and to make the game more fun. If people don't want to particapate in an event they don't have too.

You don't have open permission to troll for luls with your powers, and try to stick to a personal code.

To be fair, I won't and you won't have GM forever so treat it well for the time we are allowed to use it.
