Why wouldn't there be admins that don't play? You should be able to experience what's happening while it's happening in my honest opinion.

An admin simply watches. If they're involved in a war, it is too easy for one side to exclaim "BIAAAS". All an admin has to do is be unable to interact with objects ingame via any options, and have their view get swapped from player to player a la Scry.

This way, they can see what is going on, but nobody can claim that the admin is biased because "his side was losing".


Furthermore, an ingame admin needs to be mature, and known to not fly off the handle if goaded. An admin that is not level-headed is nothing but trouble.

Well I saw the screen shots of all the items. There were five Perfect Wizard Staves along with other duped items. Perfect Wizard Staves offer the most MAttack in the game, why wouldn't they want them for PvP/Domain Warfare?

They had them in the same place in the same chest.

If there is a problem with the current admin setup it would be the limited viewpoints and stances on policing. I'm not saying that Gale and Darlute wouldn't disagree or that they agree too much. I just think that two people being admins for FFO is not enough. The third admin would/should carry a different viewpoint to the table to debate on serious topic matters. Gaku has created admins to be his voice when he's not around and keep the rules enforced.

It's not just a matter of trust but a matter of covering all sides and to "represent" all types of players in the community that we have. Regardless of how you guys feel about the community it's who we are and is what it is.

I've met a lot of people who play the game as a game and never post on the forum at all. They are the people who need representation because their voice gets drowned out from the see of tears for people who complain too much about everything about nothing.
