To be honest, I agree with most of Nab's ideas for acceptance, but there still needs to be an agreement reached between most if not ALL icon checkers.

I also think that this topic should end until new guidelines are made for icons, so that it will be better to judge his efficiency with checking and teamwork with the other checkers.

Second, Yes Nabusto you have repeatedly abused renamer, and guide. On one occasion you renamed some newbie because she made a name you had a previous hosting, and told her she couldnt have that name, and when she told you it was her irl name you called her a liar across nsay.

And let us not all forget when you renamed black to something completley and utterly retarded like "Halp I need rename" "or help I abused renamer" or w/e the **** it was, and I had to fix it. You are unfit for anything.

Nabutso didn't handle it well, but I'll leave his icon checker status up to the admins...

Regarding what types of icons are acceptable, I guess we can either have a vote, let you all argue, or I can decide, so I'm deciding...

Nab has a point about the low standards last hosting. As such, we'll go with his idea that all icons have to fit the game's style. It's hard to decide where to draw the line, so the general rule should be, if any 2 icon checkers don't think an icon fits the style, it needs to go back for revisions. (i.e. You need all but 1 to give it a green light.)

On the other hand, the notoriety test is flawed in that some people may be well known within certain circles but not others. Most new players have never heard of Elias for example. This rule is being tossed out.

As far as my opinion about Nab keeping icon checker, I think that as long as he actually collaborates with the rest of the icon checkers then he will do fine, but because of this huge escapade, he is definitely on thin ice.

And ya know, not to defend anyone in this topic, but while Nab is a total ****, I've never known him to actually break the rules and try to get away with it. Sure I've seen him banned from a game or two, but both times it was intentional. I've heard all the accusations on Nab through out my time here, and while he was a huge asshole, there was never any proof of any exploitation, glitch abuse or anything against the rules. Of course that didn't stop people from screaming it.

Keep in mind, as a PvP game, not being an asshole is fully optional.

reply to Tyrael1337: I don't think he broke any rules or hurt anything, accept maybe your feelings. If saying things that hurt people's feelings is against the rules, then most of FFO needs to be punished. I think as long as Nabutso does the job according to the rules, he should not be removed.

Look I've been around long enough to see the rise of Nabutso the destroyer, he's a ****** and a rage*** but he never ever accidentally a rule.

His notoriety test is retarded but he is completely right that this game is full of ****TY ICONS with OVERDONE ANIMATIONS and STUPID ASS FACE ICONS THAT LOOK LIKE FINAL FANTASY ADVENT CHILDREN AND KINGDOM HEARTS CHARACTERS and EVERY GUY FROM FIRE EMBLEM EVER and lookalike upon lookalike and animuu trash that doesn't at ALL fit the final fantasy motif. It NEEDS to change.

I don't care if every ****** here loves their kawaii ne desu bubbly eyed japanime ****brick icons. They are not final fantasy, they have never BEEN final fantasy. Final fantasy has from the start, and especially in the first 3 games this one is most completely based and tiled off of, had a wispy watercoloresque official art style, and in game graphics that did the best they could to mimic this. It's high fantasy, not flashy anime. NO MORE ****ING BOBBLEHEADED BUG EYED CHARACTERS PLEASE.
